Just about everyone at one point or another has sat around a fire and roasted a marshmallow, whether to make a s’more or to simply eat the sticky treat. It’s typically thought of as an empty-calorie snack, but did you know that marshmallow root — from which marshmallows are made — is actually full of health benefits?
The marshmallow root is the so-called mucilage material.
Sage is part of the mint family, alongside oregano, lavender, rosemary, thyme, and basil. The valuable properties of sage were already well known to Hippocrates and Galen. The ancient Greeks made "Greek tea." In the south of Europe, sage was called "holy herb" and "European tea".
Black seeds (Nigella sativa) is known as black caraway or black cumin. It has been described as a (miracle herb), known since ancient times as a (remedy for everything but death). The black seed oil was found in Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun's tomb.
